Atletico Madrid Scored great goal against Villarreal
Joao Felix took the opportunity to direct a message to somebody at the Ceramica Stadium after putting Atletico Madrid 2-0 up against Villarreal.
The Portuguese international had been left on the bench on Sunday night after his disappointing display against Chelsea in the Champions League.
After coming on for Thomas Lemar at half time, the youngster doubled Atletico’s advantage with a well taken chest and volley.
Once the ball had nestled in the net, Joao turned around to face the dugouts and put his finger up to his lips.
Afterwards, he launched into a furious rant, though it wasn’t clear who he was venting his spleen at exactly.
The goal was the forward’s seventh in LaLiga Santander this season and went a long way to sending them five points clear at the top of the table.
