/ world today news/ On November 17, the 30th informal summit of the Asia-Pacific Cooperation (ATIS) ended.

Its participants adopted the San Francisco Declaration, which states that ATIS must take advantage of technological and economic advances to unlock the region’s enormous potential and vitality to address environmental challenges, including climate change.

The declaration also said that ATIS will strive for market-driven regional economic integration, creating a fair and favorable business and investment environment, maintaining market openness. Economies in the region must, based on technological progress, accelerate the clean, sustainable, fair and affordable energy transition to achieve carbon neutrality by the middle of this century.
