Paris Hilton (40) is celebrating her comeback on the red carpet! The entrepreneur attended the screening of her documentary “This Is Paris” at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Sunday with her fiancé Carter Reum (40). In love, the couple posed for the photographers.
But not only her better half accompanied Hilton on this big day – her sister Nicky Hilton (37) and the director of the film, Alexandra Dean, walked the red carpet. “This Is Paris” should have been shown at the film event last year, but the screening was postponed to this year due to the Corona crisis.
Hilton tries to overcome her trauma
“Being honest and revealing my trauma and my past wasn’t easy, but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I know teen Paris would be so proud of the woman I am today,” wrote the blonde in an Instagram post. The trauma that Hilton addresses in her post is the focus of her documentary. In her teenage years, the 40-year-old was “kidnapped” in a kind of boarding school, where she was humiliated for years. Since 2020 she has been trying to take legal action against the mistreatment at the Provo Canyon School.
“This Is Paris” has been available free of charge on YouTube since September 14, 2020. To date, over 22 million people have tuned in and watched the almost two-hour documentary.
