The Mahault crossroads has been completely blocked since Wednesday morning, like many other points on the island. Yesterday evening, despite the call to lift the roadblocks during the night launched by the inter-union, this “strategic point” was taken up by individuals outside the movement.

Three fires were still smoking this morning.

Four vehicles were burned overnight and are blocking the entire roundabout. Hooded young people, sometimes with sticks in their hands, asked everyone who came to turn around. For some motorists to cross the roadblocks, they had to pay between 3 and 10 euros, as we saw on the spot.
On the other hand, firefighters’ vehicles, Samu and ambulances seemed to pass without problem.
On the Mahault bridge, many bottles and stones which serve as projectiles are clearly visible.- .
