“The truth is that I only put YouTube to listen to music”, Kun Agüero began counting, who on YouTube has more than 3 million subscribers.

“The other day… YouTube gives you money, I didn’t know, the other day my accountant told me ‘you got 12 thousand dollars from YouTube’. And I said ‘from YouTube?’ and what pays youtube boludo. And I said well, at least I pay some boludo expenses, forget it “, counted.

Kun Agüero, taxes and Flor de la V’s response

Kun Agüero opened a debate on social networks about payment of estate taxes: “There are countries that charge you for having money in your account or anywhere in the world. They charge you annually… So, now I ask you a question. Why do they charge you, if you already pay the taxes? ”The former footballer asked himself.

“But you are generating money, if you generate money, that’s fine, you pay. But what does not convince me is that you pay an annual percentage of the assets you have. It seems to me that it is crazy in any part of the world”, he had maintained, opening a great debate.

Flor de la V now joined this debate with an opinion note in which she welcomed the opening of the discussion on taxes, but He pointed to the position that Agüero had.

“Millionaires increasingly want to pay less,” he titled in one of his sections. “The question is interesting, dear Kun. It is even a discussion that sounds more and more strongly in the most powerful countries in the world in relation to the citizens who have the most money. In several cases, people who have been ultra-rich for decades. The question is: why do people who have more and more want to pay less taxes?“, he asked himself.

However, he questioned: “Perhaps many think that it is understandable that a millionaire defends the interests of other millionaires. They may even believe it logical. The surprising thing about this controversy is that there are many people who defend them and are not millionaires”.

On the other hand, Flor de la V pointed to the payment of the value added tax (VAT): “But did you realize that nobody discusses VAT, which is 21%? Something that we Argentines pay for with everything we buy.”

“Why should poor or very low-income people pay for a sachet of milk the same as people who have more? no one questions about the unfair and unequal what is what the poor of our country, almost 50% of the population, pay a VAT of 21% for their food and nobody says anything. Isn’t that for discussion? Why are taxes such as VAT still being charged to those who have the least? the driver launched.

In this context, he also pointed out those who used the Pre-Trip benefit: “No one wonders if everyone who used the pre-trip really needed to be financed.. Surely there were many people with more than resolved needs who used the benefit and it seemed fair to them”.

Regarding Agüero’s position, he launched: “I don’t know the Kun. I know he’s a great athlete and seems like a nice guy, but it surprises me that someone who was born into poverty, like many footballers, and knows very well what needs are today, thinks like a rich man”.

He argued that what was said by the former footballer “it is the victory of the mega-millionaires: having convinced a lot of people who do not belong to that world that their interests are the same as theirs. When in reality they are the opposite, because every peso that they do not pay in taxes, for example to wealth or heritage, is a peso that the remaining 99.9% of the population has to pay.

Finally, he added: “I celebrate this debate, I hope you can reflect on poverty without prejudice or social stigma. For me, it is logical that taxes serve to help those who have less and, above all, improve the lives of its citizens”.
