At least eight people died from gunfire by strangers in the German city of Hanau. This is reported by Bild.
It also refers to five victims who were seriously injured.
According to media reports, the criminal opened fire in two hookahs, after which he got into a car, arrived at one of the squares of the city, and continued to shoot there.
The attacker has not yet been caught; a special operation regime has been introduced in the city. A police helicopter is seen in the sky above the city.
