At least 92 people died after a thought explosion in Sierra Leone

The director of the morgue in the city, Sinneh Kamara, informs the news agency Reuters.

According to a representative of the authorities in the country, several people are critically injured after the explosion that happened on Saturday morning, writes CNN.

Several injured have been taken to hospital, and the rescue operation on site has ended.

The mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, writes in a statement that the accident happened when a tanker collided with another truck.

– The video and the pictures circulating on social media of the accident are disturbing, she writes.
