A mobile home had an accident on the A12 motorway near Avry-devant-Pont FR on Friday afternoon. Nobody was injured. The motorway between Bulle and Rossens was closed and a detour was set up. The traffic was severely disrupted.

As the canton police in Friborg announced, the accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. A 51-year-old Italian driver was accompanied by a 45-year-old woman and three boys aged 5, 8 and 12 with a motorhome on the A12 from Châtel-St-Denis in the direction of Freiburg.

Fuel has been neutralized
Shortly before the Avry tunnel he was in the right lane when he collided with the right guardrail due to inattention. The vehicle climbed the guardrail before tipping over on its left side. The motorhome skidded a few meters and then came to a stop in the middle of the tunnel, blocking both lanes.

Nobody was injured in the accident. The fire brigade secured the vehicle as well as two gas bottles and batteries. Then it neutralized a small amount of fuel on the road. The A12 infrastructure was only slightly damaged.
