At a glance: What about the veils now? Attention, they will be mandatory at work as well

“We have agreed to issue an extraordinary measure on the obligation to wear veils, with some exceptions, in all indoor areas. The veil is worn under the roof, not outside, with clearly defined exceptions, “said Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch (for YES).

A novelty is the obligation to wear veils even at work, if a person does not work in one place and is not at least two meters away from the others.

“It is illusory to think that the veils will stop the virus, but they could slow down the increase in the number of infected,” the minister said.

The ministry released the ordinance on Wednesday afternoon. Again, it contains a number of exceptions, who do not have to use a veil or other protection in what situations.

Apart from the youngest children, the obligation does not apply to students during classes. The actors of court proceedings, wedding guests, moderators or people in sports do not have to cover the airways either. People with autism spectrum disorders and people who would not understand the meaning of the measure due to their mental state will continue to do without drapes.

When consuming drinks or meals, you can also travel by public transport without a veil.

In schools, veils will be mandatory only in common areas.
