Asus presents new personnel in the ROG Phone 5s series that carries the fastest chipset for Android devices today, Snapdragon 888 plus. The ROG Phone 5s series is available in two types, namely, ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro.
The difference between the two is in the presence of ROG Vision which is only available on the ROG Phone 5s Pro.
ROG Vision is said to be able to display various animations that indicate whether the ROG Phone 5s Pro is charging, there is an incoming call, including X Mode activated, and more. Gamers can even create custom animations to personalize their phone.
Apart from this, the difference between ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro is only in the memory configuration offered.
ROG Phone 5s offers memory variants that vary from 8GB to 18GB of RAM and 128GB to 512GB of internal memory. While the ROG Phone 5s Pro is only offered with an 18/512GB configuration.
However, they both use LPDDR5 for RAM and UFS 3.1 for internal storage.
Then these two phones both provide a 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz with a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Both are also equipped with a 64 MP camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor as the main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MP macro camera.
In addition, these two phones are also equipped with features that can enhance the gaming experience, such as AirTrigger 5. AirTrigger 5 gives gamers full control over every game they play.
Then the AeroActive Cooler 5 accessory, which is provided in the sales package of the ROG Phone 5s Pro, is equipped with two additional physical buttons to provide a console-like gaming experience.
ROG Phone 5s Pro also features a touch sensor on the back and provides an L2/R2 trigger function. It can be controlled with the AirTrigger 5 system which works in conjunction with an ultrasonic sensor, AeroActive Cooler 5 button and gesture control to provide complete control for the total gaming experience.
ROG Phone 5s is offered in two color variants, namely Phantom Black and Storm White. While the ROG Phone 5s Pro variant is only offered in Phantom Black color only. The ROG Phone 5s series phones can already be ordered with pre-order status from December 5 to 12.
