The official announcement of the ROG Phone 5 is scheduled for March 10, but apparently DxOMark, probably by mistake, he didn’t want to wait for the official launch to let us know how the speaker of the new ASUS smartphone, which apparently are top of the class.
With a score of 79, ROG Phone 5 is in fact first in the standings, distancing the second classified by 3 points, which becomes Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Among its strengths in reproduction we have a “excellent space performance, with precise localization and a realistic rendering distance“. I bass they are also very precise, even if just a little lacking, and in general also the maximum volume it could be higher. The are also good microphones, which overall offer excellent recording performance, so as to enrich your videos properly.
Unfortunately, the info stops there, and the smartphone data sheet still remains a mystery. However, its design is no longer so, definitively confirmed thanks to DxOMark. Three rear cameras, of which the main one from 64 megapixel, and a front without notch nor holes in the display. But the back cover reserves other surprises: on the one hand we have an area anime-matrix, that is perforated and with underlying LEDs, a solution already seen on some gaming laptops of the company, and at its side there is also a mini-display that we had already glimpsed in a previous leak related to the ROG Phone 5.
Once again in short, ROG Phone 5 is preparing to become the only gaming phone worthy of the name, and in an even more original way than in the past. Appointment on March 10 (or even earlier) for more news.
