1. Occultation of Mars by the Moon
The occultation of Mars by the Moon is an astronomical phenomenon when MArs passes behind the Moon, so it appears to be covered by the Moon.
This can happen because the distance from Mars to Earth is farther than the distance from the Moon to Earth.
Globally, Ulan’s Mars Occultation took place on April 17 from 16.25 WIB to 21.35 WIB.
2. The Superior Conjunction of Mercury
Mercury underwent superior conjunction on April 19 at 08.56 WIB. The superior conjunction is a configuration that applies specifically to Mercury and Venus, which is when Mercury turns its back on the Sun.
This superior conjunction marks the change in Mercury’s appearance from dawn to dusk.
3. The Moon-Pollux Conjunction
The peak of the Moon-Pollux conjunction occurs on April 20, 2021 at 01.18 WIB. However, this phenomenon has been witnessed since April 19, when dawn from the North-Northwest direction to before midnight from the West-Northwest direction.
