Aviation and Space Agency NASA report whereabouts asteroid the size of a bus will approach Earth in the first week of January 2022.
In addition to the asteroid, the space agency also stated that in the same month, two other asteroids would follow.
NASA’s asteroid warning is out towards the end of 2021. Inverse in his report called this space object named asteroid 2014 YE15 and has a diameter of 42 feet.
Compared to other asteroids that pass through the Solar System on a regular basis, this asteroid is still considered small, but that doesn’t mean it’s not potentially dangerous.

Meanwhile, asteroid 2014 YE15 is said to be closest to Earth on January 6, at a distance of 4,600,000 miles, which is about 19 times the distance between Earth and the Moon, which is 239,000 miles.
This asteroid also orbits the Sun between Earth and Mercury.
Is Asteroid 2014 YE15 Dangerous?
Through NASA’s Near-Earth Objects program, the space agency compiles a list of asteroids that pass through the solar system and analyzes the chances of each asteroid colliding with Earth over the next 100 years.
According to NASA, an asteroid approaching within 4.6 million miles and greater than 150 meters is considered a potentially hazardous object.
An asteroid of this size could create great devastation if it hit Earth. In 1908, an asteroid 120 feet wide hit the atmosphere over Siberia at a speed of about 33,500 miles per hour and exploded in the sky.
EarthSky added that this incident is known as the Tunguska explosion which had a power comparable to the 185 Hiroshima bombs. At that time the explosion destroyed about 80 million trees or 2,150 sq km.
NASA says there are two other asteroids that the public needs to know about. On January 7, the asteroid 2020 API, which is comparable in size to a car, will approach Earth.
The asteroid has an approximate size of 13 feet or more than 3 meters, while Earth’s closest approach is 1,080,000 miles.
On the other hand, asteroid 2013 YD43 will approach Earth on January 11. The so-called asteroid has an approximate size of 340 feet, and is comparable to a building. It has its closest approach to Earth of 3,480,000 miles, according to reports. Itech Post.
