“We had a good discussion atmosphere during our session. The good news was that everyone agreed that we had to do some youth work together to secure the ice hockey location in Linz in the long term, ”summarized Ladberg, who will play an important role in the negotiations with his Upper Austrian regional association together. “We are confident that we will have a green branch before starting summer training. It is about the future of ice hockey in Upper Austria. Everyone involved therefore wants the best for professionals, amateurs and children. ”

This area includes the teams operated by the Black Wings in the Alps Hockey League and the Erste Bank Juniors League, the teams appearing in a syndicate with the regional association in the Austrian youth championships (U16, U14, U12, U11) and the beginners’ courses for ice hockey beginners the regional association has been successfully managing the Upper Austria Talent Center since 2010 – the project now includes around 60 pupils.

“It was a good approach to the differences that currently prevail in Linz. However, we have established a good basis for discussion, which means that a satisfactory result for Upper Austrian ice hockey can be achieved in the next few weeks. The talks taking place in this regard in order to find a quick solution will be moderated by the Upper Austrian Association, ”said ÖEHV President Mittendorfer.
