Assault in Neu-Ulm: Victim Attacked by Thieves

On Saturday around 1:25 p.m. it was reported that an assault had occurred in the Schützenstrasse area in Neu-Ulm.

The 58-year-old victim had recognized the possible thieves from a previous theft, also to his detriment. They were in a black, older BMW Touring. When the 58-year-old asked the previously unknown perpetrators about the theft and wanted to take a photo of the BMW’s license plate, three people got out of the car and walked towards him. Two of the three beat and threatened the 58-year-old and then fled, partly on foot and by car, from Schützenstrasse towards Herman-Köhl-Strasse and further in an unknown direction. The slightly injured victim then called the police by telephone. An immediate search with several patrol crews from the Neu-Ulm police station was unsuccessful. The 58-year-old did not require medical treatment.
