Assassin’s Creed Mirage is getting shorter and cheaper than previous games

Assassin’s Creed Mirage recently went official shown and we already have a lot of information about the game. Assassin’s Creed Mirage would go back to the roots of the franchise and therefore focus more on stealth rather than action. In a interview with IGN, Marc-Alexis Côté, executive producer of the franchise, gave some more explanations.

Interesting news is that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be much shorter than what we’ve become accustomed to from the series in recent years. You won’t need hundreds of hours to see everything, as the game lasts from 15 to 20 hours. As a result, Mirage relies heavily on previous Assassin’s Creed games.

“This is a smaller project than Assassin’s Creed. This was conceived [and] built to celebrate the 15th anniversary. That’s why we’re using our modern Valhalla engine to create a smaller game that pays homage to our original game by focusing more on stealth, close combat, parkour, and a denser city that dates back to our roots in the Middle East with Baghdad al center”.

In addition, the game will also be available on the shelves for only 50 €, at least for the standard edition. The game will be released in 2023, but a specific date has not yet been given.
