Arsenal are considering a move for Everton forward Richarlison as Mikel Arteta plans for the future without Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a report claims.
Gunner chief Arteta is understood to be fueling interest in the Brazilian, who helped sink Arsenal on Monday night. The Spanish manager saw up close how destructive Richarlison can be. The forward scored and the VAR narrowly annulled two more.
And it is understood that that performance moved Arteta, who seems likely to lose Aubameyang and Lacazette the next summer.
Transfers reports that Arsenal are hatching a move for Richarlison, who is at a “club that is too small.”
The Spanish media suggests that summer could be the perfect time for the 24-year-old to move on.
He joined the Toffees in 2018 from Watford for a initial £ 35 million, rising to £ 50 million. He remains under contract until 2024 and Arsenal would have to pay a lot to bring the former Fluminese man to the Emirates.
Richarlison is also on the radar for Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, according to the report.
However, Arsenal’s need may be greater for a player with 45 goals and 11 assists in 129 games for Everton.

Lacazette, Aubameyang para irse?
Lacazette’s deal expires next summer and it will almost certainly move forward.
The 30-year-old’s current deal with the Gunners expires in June 2022 and he is free to speak with foreign clubs in January to negotiate a free transfer.
Arteta said: “It is the situation we have and we have to accept it.
“I cannot ask the player for anything… and it is not an individual situation because it has a domino effect.
“We have had to deal with all this in the past and still now, we have to see what is the best option for everyone at the end of the season.”
The future of Aubameyang is not that simple. The 32-year-old will have one year to fulfill his contract next summer, but his future seems uncertain.
The Arsenal captain was left out of the side that lost to Everton. Y Gary Neville has predicted that things could get “bitter” between the player and the club.
Neville told Sky Sports: “I think there will be a problem with Aubameyang in the later part of this game.”
I don’t think he likes the idea of Nketiah showing up. I don’t think he likes the idea of being a sub-point.
