The Fourth Military Zone of the Ministry of National Defense announced that a confrontation took place on Wednesday which resulted in the seizure of a criminal cell, various weapons, magazines and tactical equipment.
The scuffle took place near the fishing village of the guásimasbelonging to the municipality of Guayma.
Six suspected criminals were arrested there and another was killed; In addition, hundreds of metal spikes, 15 long guns, 82 magazines, 11 magazine racks, 15 tactical vests, as well as three motorcycles and five cars were seized.
The insured material, as well as the alleged criminals arrested, have been made available to the competent authorities, which will be charged with the investigation.
