Arsenal announced this Saturday the renewal of the striker Eddie Nketiahto whom he also gave the legendary number 14 of the French Thierry Henry.
The 22-year-old was out of contract at the end of this month, but both he and the club had declared their intention for a renewal to take place.
Nketiah he has scored 23 goals in the 92 games he has played for Arsenal since making his debut in 2017.
“I am delighted that Eddie is staying. He represents who we are and the values of the club. We are very happy that he has renewed his contract. Now it’s time to go back to work and develop the great footballer and the great person we have in him,” he said. Mikel Arteta it’s a statement.
The English player will change the number ’30’ that he had worn until now for the ’14’ that he wore Henry in the set ‘Gunner’.
