During a check, the suspicion arose that the man could be a drug courier, according to a statement from the police. The check uncovered blocks of cocaine built into the side walls of a backpack. The total weight of the drugs is estimated at around 1.5 kilograms.
The cocaine was brought to the Zurich Forensic Institute for precise identification. After being questioned by the police, the arrested person was brought to the responsible public prosecutor’s office in Winterthur / Unterland.
