Teacher Arlette Pinxten (53) has received a convocation letter to be vaccinated in Puurs with the vaccine from Janssen Pharmaceutica. But the Bornemse is worried, because she has a hereditary condition that increases her risk of a thrombosis, so her specialist gave a prescription to get a different type of vaccine. In practice this does not seem to work. “I don’t get a chance to get vaccinated,” she says concerned.
