Arkansas DLC Expands American Truck Simulator: Explore the Southern State’s Natural Beauty and Industrial Areas

The never-ending flood of additions that SCS Software brings us closer to Euro Truck Simulator, but also its sister American Truck Simulator, continues. The second of these titles, which has been taking on the land of stripes, freedom and stars for a long time, is now growing with another addition. His goal will be to process the southern state of Arkansas and its natural wealth while carrying cargo.

Additional DLC for American Truck Simulator takes players to ArkansasIn already the 16th state, natural beauty, but also industrial areas, will be on displayThe release date is not yet known

The new addition to American Truck Simulator, named Arkansas DLC, marks a natural departure from the previous SCS selection. We can remind you that until now, the development team only went through the map with certain styles. Normally, when choosing a new DLC, they were guided by selecting individual US territories in sequence from left to right and then always from the bottom up, starting with California, which arrived first back in 2016.

Now, the studio’s forces have been stretched in a similar way to Arkansas, which with its rugged landscape will be the 16th state to be added in addition to the upcoming Kansas and Nebraska (we do not yet know their release date).

State Arkansas in the new expansion, just like in real life, it will spread in the southern territory of the central United States, where it will have a total of 6 neighbors. Even in the game, it will take a position alongside Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Missouri, when the first two were already given to the game earlier.

Also contributing to its territory are 3 national forests, more than 40 individual state parks, a pair of great rivers: the Arkansas and Mississippi, and the ever-stretching Ozark and Ouachita Mountains. So there will be a lot to look at when transporting cargo, including considering the 9,000 or so miles of rivers and streams you’ll find on the map. In addition, it will also be possible to drive through a number of cities of different sizes. In them, according to the authors, you can look forward to, for example, living industry, famous landmarks, but also other interesting things.
