Argentine ADRs fall to 4.8% and country risk hits its August high

Without activity in the local market before the holiday for the passage to the immortality of General José de San Martín, the ADRs of Argentine companies operate with a majority of casualties, led by shares from the bank BBVA (-4.8%); from Grupo Financiero Galicia (-4.4%); and YPF (-4.4%).

On the side of the few stocks that moved in positive territory, the assets of Free Market (+ 2%); Globant (+ 1.5%); and Ternium (+ 0.1%).

Meanwhile, Argentine bonds operated with setbacks, so that the Argentine country risk rose 0.8% to 2,130 points, its highest level since the end of July.

Wall Street, for its part, rose on Monday and the S & P500 index was approaching a new all-time high, given expectations for the results of the large retail chains that will be known this week.

The Dow Jones industrial average added 0.1% to 27,970.05; while the S & P500 rose 0.2%, to 3,380.86 units. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite Index gained 0.6%, at 11,083.25 units.
