The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Buenos Aires stated that Argentina has resumed the export of beef in compliance with the Jewish law (Halal to Jews) to Israel.

Yesterday, Friday, local time, the ministry added that 98 rabbis were transferred to the country to give an official certificate that the meat in 6 slaughterhouses is halal, which is the necessary certificate as a condition for transporting meat to Israel, a process that has been stalled due to travel restrictions caused by the Corona virus crisis.

Argentina plans to export 24,000 tons of beef, worth $ 170 million this year, to Israel, which is the fourth largest importer of Argentine beef.

“Israel pays more attention to Argentine beef than the rest of the world, and we want to preserve this market,” Argentine Foreign Minister Philip Sulla told the La Reed radio station.
