Argentina: Plan to ban all passenger flights for 4 months

The administration of Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced plans to ban all international and domestic passenger flights until September 1, against the backdrop of fighting the spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) virus.
The Argentine administration indicated – as quoted by the US “CNBC” network on Tuesday – that it plans to ban the sale of tickets for all commercial flights to and from Argentina within the next four months, warning of fines for anyone who ignores these instructions.
On the other side, the department added, only cargo flights or flights for the return of citizens stranded abroad will be allowed.
It is worth noting that as of Tuesday, Argentina recorded more than 4 thousand infections and 197 deaths from the new Corona virus.
