Argentina extends quarantine until May 10

The office of Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced in a statement yesterday, Saturday, that the period of compulsory general quarantine will be extended until the tenth of May in an attempt to combat the spread of the Corona virus.

The measure, imposed by the government, was due to expire on Sunday.

Argentina recorded 3,780 cases of corona, in addition to 185 deaths, in a modest outcome compared to Peru, Chile and Brazil.
