According to him, active hostilities on the territory of Ukraine will continue for at least another two weeks. “Then there will be a stationary phase, a protracted one, when we will have to endure them, standing still and not able to attack. There will be more brilliant green, partisan raids … The war has not gone away,” Arestovich said.

To the argument that during this time the Russian Federation could raise reserves, he replied that “it will not raise anything, because there are not particularly reserves.”

In addition, he noted that Ukraine does not stop hostilities, on the contrary, according to Arestovich, “we will intensify them.”

At the same time, he denied the suggestion that Ukraine could kick the Russians out of the occupied Crimea. “If we could, we would have already knocked out. We don’t have heavy weapons, which are the basis of the offensive,” he said.

“Your beloved NATO allies do not provide heavy weapons. When they do, we will move forward, but for now they do not,” Arestovich added.

Arestovich confirmedthat the Ukrainian side in negotiations with the Russian Federation is discussing coordination with the future countries-guarantors of Ukraine’s security, including the Russian Federation, to conduct military exercises on the territory of Ukraine with the participation of foreign armed forces. At the same time, according to Arestovich, the Russian Federation will not veto such exercises.
