Arestovich clarified the situation with the encirclement of infidels in the Kherson region – tsn.ua

At present, Ukrainian troops cannot fully close the cordon around Russian troops in the Vysokopolie area of the Kherson region. At the same time, the occupiers run the risk of ending up in a “cauldron” in the Davydov Brod area.

For a full-fledged encirclement of the Russian military in the area Vysokopolya still to be fought.

Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this told in a conversation with Russian lawyer and human rights activist Mark Feigin on July 23.

“In the Kherson region, they (the invaders – ed.) have no time for strikes. They are there they are carrying out an operation to prevent “Ilovaysk” with all their might. And in one more place there, in the area of Davydov Brod, to the south – to prevent a second hint of a second “Ilovaisk”, – said the adviser to the head of the OP.

He also described the situation with the incomplete encirclement of the invaders in the Vysokopolye region.

According to this “Ilovaisk” joyful, then there, first of all, the situation is not quite Ilovaisk, if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Because there is no gap between the performance, where their group sits, with the remnants of Russian forces. Secondly, ours there are not quite successful in reality. And they experience a certain lack of strength to fully close this story. That is in order for this to become a tactical environment, you still need to fight“, – explained Arestovich.

“Not everything there is favorable for our forces. And the enemy’s assets located on the mainland allow him to conduct effective artillery fire. If we do not transfer reserves there, the situation will remain problematic. As is often the case in war, perspective and opportunity will be lost. Therefore, no environment is guaranteed there and it remains to be overcome. And I’m not quite sure, looking at the actions of our command on the ground, that they will achieve something definite. This is how they act very awkwardly,” the adviser to the head of the presidential office said.

Recall that on July 22, Arestvoich announced that Armed Forces of Ukraine cordoned off Russian occupiers in the area of Vysokopolye. Surrounded by more than a thousand invaders with weapons and military equipment.

According to the adviser to the head of the OP, enemy troops will be asked to surrender, as well as hand over weapons along with equipment. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not provide a corridor, therefore, in case of refusal to surrender, “their fate will be decided.”
