Several students from the University of San Carlos use the internal transportation service of that university, but many others have their own vehicle, which is why they have to use the parking lot.

To that extent, and approved in an extraordinary session held by the Higher University Council (CSU) on February 15, 2024, the board of directors resolved in point TEN of Minutes 05-2024 to implement measures to safeguard the safety of the university community .

Therefore, it establishes regulations for the use of the internal parking lot of the University of San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC).

– From Monday to Sunday, vehicles may remain parked inside the facilities from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

-The entry and withdrawal of vehicles after 10:00 p.m. is prohibited, you can do so until the next day.

– In cases where security personnel establish that academic, cultural or sports activities are not taking place within the central campus, the doors will be closed before the established time.

-On approved days off and holidays, the central campus will remain closed. Only those who have proper authorization from the University Security Division may enter.

-No one will be able to spend the night in the facilities or stay after 10:00 p.m.
