It might be time to take off our tinfoil hats, Bachelor Nation fans. Recently, everyone has been wondering whether The Bachelorette’s Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron are together again. For the past few weeks, the former flames have been spotted with one another, even highlighting their relationship on TikTok as they hang out other friends — called “The Quarantine Crew” — amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. But now Hannah’s dad, Robert Brown, has put the dating rumors involving Tyler to rest.
Why Bachelor Nation fans think Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron are back together now
Following the death of Tyler’s mom, Andrea Cameron, Hannah flew to Jupiter, Florida to offer her support. Tyler was also seen picking up Hannah from the airport after the former bachelorette posted on her Instagram Story about missing her flight.
As time went on, Hannah popped up alongside Tyler on multiple occasions. Then Hannah appeared in a photo with Matt James, who is Tyler’s roommate and a potential cast member for Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette. “When you confront that internet bully,” James wrote on Instagram.
A few days later, Tyler’s brother, Ryan Cameron, also posted a photo with Hannah from a boating trip. “Found this stranger in Jupiter,” Ryan wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, Tyler, Hannah, Ryan, Matt, and a few more friends decided to create a TikTok account called “The Quarantine Crew” to document their many adventures as they attempt to practice social distancing.
But even so, the mere idea of Tyler and Hannah hanging out again after their breakup on The Bachelorette has fans hoping for some romance. That said, it seems they’re just friends.
What Robert Brown says about Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron’s relationship
When news of Tyler and Hannah’s reunion broke, Bachelor Nation’s Chris Harrison weighed in on the relationship in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. And ultimately, the host assumed they were just friends, despite rooting for them as a couple.
“Yeah, it wouldn’t shock me. I think they’d be great together,” Harrison said of Hannah and Tyler. “But they’re probably just friends.”
Then recently, the fandom received more insight, as Hannah’s dad voiced his thoughts on his daughter’s relationship with Tyler. “These two do get along very well together,” Robert commented on Instagram, per Us Weekly.
Nevertheless, it appears Robert was merely saying Tyler and Hannah get along — as friends. In an interview with Life & Style Magazine released on March 18, Robert said he wouldn’t necessarily say Hannah and Tyler are back together. He then stated they’re “just friends” and “just hanging.”
“I don’t know if I’d officially say they were back together,” Robert said. “They’re just like two kids.”
He later added: “That’s all it is to it. Nothing more, nothing less. People want to read into whatever they want to read into, and we can’t stop that. But the reality is, they’re friends.”
Robert also explained why Hannah went to Tyler’s hometown in the first place. Initially, the former bachelorette flew in to help out the Cameron family after Andrea’s death. “It’s out of respect for them,” he said.
Then Robert shared Hannah returned to Florida because the Cameron Family is “more isolated.” However, Hannah will go back to Los Angeles soon.
Regardless of how you feel about Hannah and Tyler potentially getting back together, the two seem to be enjoying each other’s company as friends. And quite frankly, we’re here for it.
