KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait Sporting Club won the 34th Arab club basketball championship. Kuwait Sporting Club’s success went to Egypt Al Ahly SC. After a 48-minute match, Kuwait Sporting Club rose to first place by beating former Al Ahli SC champions in the final moments. Rashid Al Nsi, president of the Kuwait Basketball Association, congratulated the team, members and fans.
He said this result shows the progress of basketball in Kuwait. He thanked the Kuwait SC organizing committee for successfully organizing the competition. 16 Arab clubs participated in the competition held at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Al Salem Assabah sports hall. 40 games were played in the 11-day league.
