A week after the Honda ADV 160 launched, a challenger appeared in Indonesia. Today, Saturday (16/7), Aprilia introduces adventurous motorcycles Aprilia SR-GT 200.
The adventurous Aprilia SR-GT 200 automatic scooter was officially launched in Indonesia. This sporty design scooter is expected to become a new trend, especially in the premium segment. Aprilia hopes that the premium scooter can hit the market through its design and driving experience.

The Aprilia SR-GT 200 has a wide handlebar with an open design to offer better control and is supported by a long-travel suspension and increased ground clearance to ensure that all obstacles are easily overcome when driving on city streets.
Likewise on the tires, with a wide cross-section and a ‘tough’ tread design, allowing the rider to be adventurous on various road surfaces, from asphalt to rock and dirt roads.
All of this is combined with a sporty Aprilia design, the latest i-get engine complete with a Start & Stop system for premium performance, as well as capable driving equipment including full LED lights and LCD instrumentation.
The character of the Aprilia motorcycle racing is also felt in this SR-GT 200 scooter. From the side for example the Aprilia SR-GT looks straight and sleek with reduced overhangs. In addition to housing the tank, the center column also serves to connect the front and rear, giving the SR-GT the appearance of an agile motorcycle. In addition, with a focus on providing a pleasant driving experience, the Aprilia SR-GT’s driver’s seat is slightly pulled back, giving the impression of being ‘active and ready’ compared to ordinary scooters.
Continuing on to the front that stands out is the cluster of three full LED lights, which is the hallmark of sport bikes from the Aprilia brand, as well as the double fairing that appears on the side of the shield. There is also the addition of windshields and wide open handlebars that contribute to total controllability, especially when maneuvering at low speeds in city traffic.
The Aprilia SR-GT is powered by a 174cc i-get single cylinder engine, the Aprilia SR-GT 200 offers 13 kW of power at 8,500 rpm and 16.5 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. Aprilia SR-GT is equipped with a Start & Stop system known as RISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System). This system eliminates the traditional starter, which is replaced by a brushless electric device mounted directly on the crankshaft.
There are two variants of the Aprilia SR-GT offered, namely Standard and Sport. The Standard variant is priced at IDR 60 million while the Sport variant is IDR 61.5 million (OTR Jakarta).
