entertainment">The film is about the three half-sisters April, May and June, played by Linda de Mol, Elise Schaap and Tjitske Reidinga. When their sick mother realizes that she is dying, she wants her daughters to be with her. She asks them to take care of their autistic brother Jan after her death, which causes problems between the four. The script was written by Ftendril Wood apples following an idea from De Mol.

entertainment">April, May and June premiered on December 19 last year. After eleven days, 100,000 people had already seen the film and the work was awarded a Golden Film. The film currently plays in 132 Dutch cinemas.
