“MacRumors” and “IT Home” reported that iOS 16.4 Beta added a new toggle button in the theme and settings section of the Books app, allowing users to choose their favorite way to turn pages.

Foreign media pointed out that this revision mainly highlights the three major functions including “Curl”, “Slide” and “None”. Among them, Slide is the default animation of iOS 16, Curl is the page-turning animation in iOS 15 and earlier versions, and None is a simpler animation that just moves from one page to another.

Separately, code in iOS 16.4 confirms that users in South Korea will be able to add credit and debit cards to the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay, suggesting that iOS 16.4 will add Apple Pay in South Korea.

Recently, iOS updates have been frequent, and Apple announced at the end of last month that it would stop signing iOS 16.3 updates. According to the “IT Home” report, this news shows that it will not be able to downgrade to this version, and the upgrade users sigh “I can’t go back”.

The industry believes that Apple will stop signing the old version of the iOS system after a period of time after launching the new version, so as to encourage users to upgrade the system and ensure that the system is up to date.
