“Apple WatchOS 10 to Introduce Interactive Interfaces and Widgets, with New Health Features”

Apple is scheduled to give the new generation of its smart watch developments related to the watchOS 10 system in a way that makes interactive interfaces and Widgets an essential part of the device again after years of neglect, according to Bloomberg.

Citing specialists, the agency says the mobile giant is also working on key new health features for this year and beyond.

When the company launched the original Apple Watch in 2015, watchOS was built around four main areas: watch faces, a widget interface called lances, a home screen filled with app icons, and an area for accessing your Frequently Asked Contacts.

A few years later, Apple adjusted the strategy, getting rid of redundant widgets and contacts in favor of highlighting notifications and multitasking.

However, the modifications caused the user’s inability to know the updates of applications without opening them, which made the idea of interactive interfaces, where updates of a number of applications can be known by displaying “windows” arranged with each other on the main screen.

Bloomberg says that the new interface system will be a mixture of the old system and updates to the modern ios14 system. Users will be able to scroll through a series of different interfaces – to track sports and weather, stock tickers, calendar appointments, and more.

The company also plans, according to Bloomberg, to integrate an artificial intelligence interface and an application that tracks the general health of the user.
