Apple Original Films and A24 have announced that they are collaborating on the release of the drama The Tragedy of Macbeth. This will see Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand in the leading roles.
Apple TV +: “The Tragedy of Macbeth” commissioned
“The Tragedy of Macbeth” is the latest film from Oscar winner Joel Coen, in which Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand will star. The film will hit theaters worldwide later this year before it premieres on Apple TV +.
In addition to Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Kathryn Hunter, Harry Melling and Brendan Gleeson will also be seen.
Apple Original Films and A24 have entered into a long-term partnership. As part of the cooperation, “On The Rocks” by Oscar winner Sofia Coppola with Rashida Jones and Bill Murray, as well as the winner of the Grand Jury Prize of the Sundance Film Festival “Boys State” have already been created. The Sky is Everywhere, directed by Josephine Decker with Grace Kaufman, Cherry Jones and Jason Segel is also currently in the works.
