Apple Teacher Portfolio Launches to Extend Professional Learning

Apple Teacher Portfolio is available starting today in the Apple Teacher Learning Center

Apple has launched a new tool called Apple Teacher Portfolio for teachers that comes with updates to their educational applications such as Everyone Can Create, Schoolwork y Classroom. It is a new offering that allows teachers to make the most of the apple technology through each phase of their lesson planning to help students activate prior knowledge as well as explore a topic more deeply and apply understanding.

This platform consists of 21 lesson templates and ideas inspired by the company’s Everyone Can Create project guides. It allows the teaching community to incorporate Apple products such as Keynote Y GarageBand and create lessons for students. The “Teacher Portfolio” also becomes a compilation of work and lessons that teachers can share with their peer leadership.

Apple Teacher Portfolio offers teachers a platform to ask the right questions and help teachers reflect on their work in a meaningful way. Additionally, the drawing guide has been updated to include motion graphics and animation in Keynote: the Photos guide to cover creating GIFs using Keynote, Camera, and Photos, while the video guide to include green screen cinema, and the music guide to add new music features podcasting usando GarageBand.

Teachers will be able to obtain more information about their students’ activity thanks to the progress data and the time invested in documents, videos and links assigned in Homeworks. These new features will make Homework an even more powerful tool to help teachers manage and personalize their class.

Apple Teacher Portfolio is available starting today in the Apple Teacher Learning Center. All the updates and new features of the Creativity for All guides are now available for free download from Apple Books. On the other hand, the new versions of the Schoolwork and Classroom apps are now available in beta through AppleSeed for IT.
