Travel agent duped
Petrus explained that the money came from the proceeds from the sale of 242 pax airline tickets to prospective pilgrims who would be going for the Umrah pilgrimage who had previously ordered tickets from one of the other travel agents who were later found to be also they victims .
One of the travel agents who became victims, namely PT CTM received ticket orders from 3 other Umrah travel agents, namely PT for 69 pax, travel agent SR Umrah for 146 pax and agent G for 27 pax.

RAP is currently being held at Polda Metro Jaya for further investigation. Investigator Subdit Harda also completed the filing and sent his files to the DKI Jakarta High Court on 19 December 2022 and is currently still awaiting a response from the prosecutor.
