A merger of three partners is bringing an app to the Swiss market that gives users direct access to their own patient record. The application named Health-E should make personal health data available everywhere. According to a media release, it offers users the option of importing data, tracking their history, keeping an eye on their medication and uploading medical reports. And if necessary, it is easy to exchange treatment-relevant information with health professionals.

The three partners who are launching this app are Winterthur BINT, Abilis / Ofac and phellow seven. BINT has been active in networking the health system since 2008 and has been working on the implementation of the federal government’s eHealth strategy and the electronic patient record (EPD) since 2011. Health e-users open their EPD at Abilis, the community of pharmacists. It is from the network service provider I do it operated by Swiss pharmacies. The data are in certified, secure Swiss data centers, according to BINT. Together with BINT, phellow seven GmbH has further developed its German e-health app in accordance with Swiss e-health standards.

The app is already running in test mode in the municipality of Elsau near Winterthur. “Our residents have their health actively under control,” said Mayor Jürg Frutiger. The app can be actively used in spring 2021. Registrations are already on the Website the application possible. mm
