According to Gangnam-gu on the 15th, Apgujeong District 4, which held the association inauguration general meeting in December last year, received approval for the establishment of the association on the 10th. It has been about three years since the association establishment promotion committee was established in November 2017. It plans to rebuild 1,300 households into 2,000 households.

All six maintenance zones in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu are accelerating the reconstruction project. District 1 (Miseong 1st, 2nd), 2nd (Hyundai 9, 11, 12th), and 3rd (Hyundai 1-7, 10, 13, 14th, Daelim Villat) surpassed 75% of the agreement to establish a union. We are preparing for the association establishment general meeting. Along with District 4, the results of District 5, which applied for permission to establish a union at Gangnam-gu Office in December last year, are expected to come out this month.

The reason why the maintenance area around Apgujeong-dong is in a hurry to approve the establishment of the union is to avoid the requirement for the two-year actual residency requirement. The government announced that through the June 17th measures last year, the reconstruction apartments in the overheated district will be allowed to receive the right to occupy new apartments only after the members lived for two years.
