APG | SGA: Michael Pevec has new responsibilities

APG | SGA is organizing the two areas of Programmatic DOOH and Mobile Advertising (which also includes the Aymo product range) and is further developing the two growth areas. APG is thus developing synergies for advertising customers in the areas of targeting solutions, technical platforms and data, as stated in a press release.

Michael Pevec, previously Head of Programmatic DOOH, will also take over the Mobile Advertising division at APG and has been leading the ten-person team of specialists since April 1, 2021, which is to be strengthened in the Sales Programmatic DOOH division. He reports directly to Beat Holenstein, Head of Marketing & Innovation. Raphael Bratschi, who was previously responsible for the Mobile Advertising unit, left the company at his own request and accepted a new challenge outside of the out-of-home advertising industry.

In 2018, APG launched “the most precise mobile targeting in Switzerland” with Aymo (persoenlich.com reported). In the meantime, the mobile advertising sector with its Aymo products has established itself in the market and has grown steadily, according to the announcement. Programmatic DOOH was “successfully introduced” last year. Over 500 large screens (eBoard and ePanel) can be booked programmatically at APG. VIOOH is used for the SSP (Supply Side Platform). Well over 30 campaigns have been implemented in the past few months. The possibility of precise broadcasts in terms of location and time, geared towards the respective target group, is valued and used intensively by agencies and customers alike, writes APG.

In the course of focusing and strengthening the two business areas, APG decided to use the obvious synergies with regard to targeting, technical platforms such as SSP and DSP as well as data. In the Marketing & Innovation division, the two units Programmatic DOOH and Mobile Advertising are therefore being brought together under one roof under the direction of Michael Pevec. All employees will be taken over according to the notification. The recruitment process for specialized programmatic DOOH salespeople is underway.

The market is cultivated on the one hand by “a dedicated sales team” who reports to Michael Pevec, and on the other hand by the established, Switzerland-wide sales network of APG with over 120 sales employees. This guarantees optimal, broad and targeted customer service. (pd / cbe)
