The anti-contagion rules have been defined in the new Covid decree launched by the Council of Ministers.

MASK – Compulsory in all closed places, except private homes, where it is “recommended”. The obligation indoors was envisaged only for places open to the public: now a further squeeze arrives and the obligation is triggered everywhere except in one’s home. The obligation to wear a mask will apply “in all outdoor places except in cases where the condition of isolation is continuously guaranteed” from other people. The obligation does not apply if you are outdoors in an isolated place with people living together. Those who do not adapt risk big: not wearing a mask outdoors when expected triggers heavy fines: from 400 euros to 1,000 euros.

MASK EXCEPTIONS – It should not be worn at home.
The guidelines for the consumption of food and drink are reserved. These obligations do not include children under the age of six, those with pathologies or disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask and those who, to interact with the latter, are in the same incompatibility. Furthermore, the use of the mask is not mandatory during the performance of the sporting activity

WORKPLACES – For the rules on distances and masks in offices, factories, shops, the anti-contagion protocols and guidelines already provided continue to apply. This means that the current safety rules continue to apply in the workplace. Until the end of the state of emergency, January 31, all public and private companies are recommended to have employees work in smart working.

DISTANCES – The ban on gathering does not disappear. Between people you have to keep a distance of one meter, two meters if you play sports.

FEVER AND QUARANTINE – Respect of hygiene rules starting from washing hands often, obligation to stay at home with more than 37.5 of fever. The quarantine rules do not change.

LEISURE – Discos remain closed. For cinemas, theaters and concerts, the limit of 200 people for indoor shows and 1000 people for outdoor shows remains, with the obligation to guarantee a meter of distance between spectators and a fever measurement at the entrance.

FINES – High fines for those who violate the anti-contagion rules, including the obligation to wear masks: they remain from 400 euros to 1000 euros. Those who have contracted Covid but do not respect the quarantine risk being arrested from 3 to 18 months and a fine of 500 to 5,000 euros.

IMMUNE APP – The Immune app for the alert of subjects who have come into contact with positive people at Covid, so far downloaded by 7,264,257 people, will henceforth also dialogue with the tracking platforms of other European countries.
Immuni will remain operational until December 31, 2021: after that time all personal data must be “deleted or made permanently anonymous”, to guarantee privacy.
