The authoritative portal Transfermarkt has published a list of the most expensive transfers of 2022.
The list was topped by the move of winger Anthony from Ajax to Manchester United. It cost the Mancunians 95 million euros. In second place on the list is striker Dusan Vlahovic, who moved from Fiorentina to Juventus (81.6 million). Rounding out the top three most expensive players of the year was defender Wesley Fofan’s move from Leicester to Chelsea (£80.4m).
