Anthem was one of the games that caused a sensation during its initial presentation at the 2017 E3 show, and yet it quickly disappointed the gaming community with its absences, bugs and other issues that the developers did not succeed to be resolved quickly enough.
The title did not enjoy the best conditions during its initial development: the teams experienced a fairly high turnover and the game suffered.

Already last November, we mentioned the fact that internal discussions at Bioware raised the possibility of a complete overhaul of the game: it is now official.
Casey Hudson, producer of the title at BioWare posted a note on the publisher’s blog to announce that the game would benefit from a complete overhaul. No more updates will be offered on the original title which will be taken almost from scratch in its gameplay.
Players will continue to enjoy the title and automated community events.
BioWare talks about revamping “the gameplay with clear objectives, innovative challenges and a progression strewn with significant rewards.”
The unknown remains the time given to the teams to complete the project: Electronic Arts has given its agreement in principle, but it is obvious that a deadline has been imposed. Casey Hudson assures, however, that to carry out the project, the studio has offered a new team and enough time to deliver a copy closer to what was initially planned.
