After the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence on August 17, 1945, the Indonesian people were still struggling to defend Indonesia’s independence from the interference of foreign nations who had come, such as from the Dutch Government.
Dutch troops returned to their homeland. This arrival was greeted with various forms of resistance by the Indonesian people. So that since 1945-1950 there have been various kinds of battles in various regions between the Indonesian side and the Dutch, assisted by British troops.
