Another person who was a passenger on the second voyage with Roald Amundsens has tested positive for Covid-19. Tromsø municipality writes in a press release on Monday night.
It is the sixth of the ship’s passengers who have been diagnosed with corona after two voyages to Svalbard. 36 crew members also tested positive.
The infected person lives in Tromsø and is in isolation, the municipality states.
Of the passengers to be tested by Tromsø municipality, only one remains. The person will be tested on Tuesday.
Tromsø municipality took a total of six samples on Monday. The other five were negative.
