In Ufa, three children were diagnosed with HIV. This was reported today, October 4, by journalists UfacityNews.ru with reference to the Center for the Fight against AIDS and Infectious Diseases.
Between July and September, the virus was detected in the blood of a child under 15 years old, as well as in two adolescents 15 and 17 years old. In total, during the year, the diagnosis was made to five children under 15 years old and four adolescents 14-17 years old.
In total, in Bashkiria, as of September 30, 232 children under the age of 15 are registered with HIV infection. Of these, 220 are infected perinterally, two more – through breast milk, two more have not established the method of infection.
