Swiss champion Roger Federer finished in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon this year.
“Unfortunately, the knee came again and I have to accept that I will not play at the Tokyo Olympics. I am terribly disappointed, because it has always been a great honor and one of the highlights of my career when I represented Switzerland,” Federer told fans on Twitter. which will celebrate its 40th birthday in August.
Federer was twice on surgery with his right knee last year and returned to the courts this year after a break of more than a year. “The trouble has returned to the grass.
