Anonymous customer of Irma’s Southwest restaurant leaves a tip of $ 9,400 for his employees | Univision 45 Houston KXLN

The diner has been going to the restaurant for more than 10 years and after hearing the measurements announced by the Houston authorities, and affecting business in the area, he decided to help. To do so, he only went to the establishment to eat and, when paying, left the tip that impressed the workers.

“All employees are very happy and surprised that this customer gave us that support, said Janet Montez,” the restaurant manager.

The money will be distributed among all the employees.

“Although the man actually left $ 9,500, $ 100 is for the waiter who served him that night,” added Montez.

Houston authorities announced hours before the order that restaurants, bars and nightclubs may only offer their takeaway or to be delivered at home, which means that many employees will be during the order’s duration without work.
