Announces mental health and music festival ” Ogle”

This summer in Sigulda Castle quarter from 8. – 9. the mental health and music festival “Ogle 2022”will take place in July. This will be the third year in which the festival organizers will provide an opportunity to attend educational lectures and classes on the topic of mental health in one place for two days, as well as to see performances by various musicians.

The goal of the festival “Ogle” is to strengthen awareness and concern about the topic of mental health. By maintaining the format of the festival, visitors will also have the opportunity to listen to educational lectures, meet specialists from the crisis and counseling center “Skalbes”, follow the video series of the experience stories of the International Organization “the Human Aspect” and attend InkkaYoga yoga and meditation classes that help improve mental health, as well as the opportunity to receive individual consultations with certified specialists.

On both days of the festival visitors will be delighted with concerts by such famous musicians as Arturs Skutelis, ansis, Alternative Music Group “XIX Dead Monarchs” from Norway and others.

“We are pleased that this year hip-hop representatives Arturs Skutelis and ansis, who have been with us since the first year of” coal”, will also be on the festival stage. In turn, in the offer of activities this year’s novelty will be therapeutic yoga and mental health workshops, which have not yet been available in Latvia,” explains the organiser Alise Cepite. “The current situation in the world has affected us all, so we believe that especially this year the festival is necessary. With a wide range of activities within the framework of “Ogle 2022” we will learn how to help ourselves and others, so that our society is understanding and motivated, as well as invite to Share our joy with others.”

This year the mental health and music festival “Ogle” will take place for the third time. The first festival took place in 2019. a year in the Sauk Nature Park, while 2020. “Ogle’s Minifest”was held in Riga in the summer.
